Prisoner of War & Militaria Auction

Bidding closes Monday, November 7th @ 7 p.m. MT
(staggered soft close)

This auction features items from the Estate of John A. (Jay) Johnston, Lethbridge AB and select guest consignors.

Jay Johnston's father was in the military and would have loved for his son to join the service, but he was far too artistic and chose to pursue an Arts Degree instead of joining the RMC. His father's service did greatly shape Jay's collecting interests, however. Over the course of 20+ years, Jay collected widely, having a particular interest in the 'ships in bottles' made by the POWs in the southern Alberta camps.
