Hall’s Auction Services Ltd. is a full-service auction company conducting live and online auction sales of antiques, fine furniture, collectibles, fine art, objets d’art and jewelry for estates, receivers, dealers and individual consignors.  We are a long-established, local and customer service oriented firm.

Open Position:             Full-Time Auction Assistant

Reporting to:               Kevin King
                                   President, Hall’s Auction Services Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for many of the day-to-day operations of an auction house.  Duties may include, but will not necessarily be limited to:

  • Client Liaison
  • Intake of Consignment Items
  • Cataloguing Inventory
  • Cleaning / Minor Restorations of Furniture
  • Digital Photography / Photograph Editing
  • Showroom Staging
  • Warehouse Management & Storage
  • Auction Previewing & Sales

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Be able to work independently.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy work environment.
  • Be cautious in handling valuable items.
  • Exhibit great attention to detail.
  • Be able to lift and move furniture.
  • Be reliable and prompt.
  • Have basic digital camera and photo editing knowledge.
  • Have computer / keyboarding skills.
  • Knowledge of antiques & collectibles is a definite asset.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill set.
